Write on two

Recently attended a write in for NANOWRIMO short for national novel writing month. so I sat in a poorly heated room and typed as fast as I could for like 4 hours straight with food and snack breaks when I could not sit still any more. Pushing my creative self was inspiring. Don't how much actual writing I accomplished yet it was inspiring so today I began adding more stuff albeit more slowly. plus I wore myself out.

I was thinking that I could do this with my art also . do a 4 hour paint in. and in the process just paint as fast as I can in that time not worrying about perfection like I was not worried about content or spelling errors. know that I could later go back in and correct or edit.

I can do the same with my painting. yet I find that more intimidating to do. why? what am I so worried about.. this is an ongoing issue with a lot of artists including me. so afraid of others judgments and our own that we fail before we try. .

So . I decided to reframe my thinking about painting in the same way. because tomorrow is not promised and opinions are just that. and I am taking this life nonsense. what ever it really is much too serious because its all just a game of pretend. cause it really does not matter in the end. I have inspired two new artists to begin experimenting with painting one I call Cupcake and the other Princess T and that makes it all worthwhile . to inspire and have fun. art is suppose to be FUN! so I will have fun too. peace and love, sara
