On acceptance

Go forward. Move ahead. Whip it. Whip it good. My favorite song next to the Star Spangled Banner.
I am not a patriotic fanatic or something. The song reminds me of dad and baseball games where at the end of song they said “PLAY BALL!”.
Life goes on. The older I get the more I see and know I will have to accept what is to come. So in the mean time, I paint, I write, I create. Whatever it takes to distract my self from thinking too much plus its fun.. So, I go forward and don’t look back. Focus on the now mindfully on the knowing that being afraid or sad will get me nowhere; will not stop all that is, all that will become.
So I paint, I write, I create. I reach out to the world. Sometimes I want to stop, just give up, quit doing. Discouraged saying, “why bother?” thinking that all I do is just a waste of time, that it matters not in the end and maybe it doesn’t but, it is who I am and I will continue until I am no more. Its all good. “Rest in peace, dad.”
Peace and love, sara
