Never quit

I have been gone a long time from blogging. Life is getting in the way of creativity. So sad. I have to focus on the now. Not let my self get caught up in the inevitable. Time is running out.

I am focusing on art and on selling art. Selling has taken some of the joy out of creating. Fear of art not perfect of others judgment has gotten in the way of creative freedom. I admire that some people are in a place where they are more free in their creation. I want to be free of having everything being perfect.. every line every brushstroke, every color or value just so. Slows me down.

That is why yesterday I did two altered pouring pieces. The ones where you use different techniques to let the paint puddle and flow where it may and sometimes beauty ensues. I so love the colore of the one piece and the lines I created. It is almost dry. Still at the wet shiny stage. But it will soon ready then I can varnish it with satin finish varnish. I love the effect of that. Lends a slight shine. Evens out the finish. I am enclosing a photo. Peace and love, sara
